Subsea Laser Pointer System

The system projects two parallel laser points on the video image in order to measure linear distances in captures stills images.

The system consists of two laser modules installed in anodized aluminium housings with a special sapphire front lens with minimum reflectance.

The two housings are mounted on a HD Delrin Yoke that can be adapted to any video camera. The yoke is equipped with adjustment screws that allows alignment in x, y axis.

The two 15mW 635nm laser modules have a wide range supply voltage range from 5-30VDC that makes them easy to integrate in any system.

The MVL-2 is delivered with the MVLRanger PC SW for measuring and post processing of stills images.

The system is delivered with MCBH3M subsea connectors but can on request be equipped with any brand of connector.

The system can on request be equipped with an separate RS-232 on/off system for remote control.
