The Pro 4 High Definition (HD) Camera is a "plug and play" externally mountable full 1080 resolution solution for the VideoRay Pro 4 ROV system. The camera is fully controllable topside through the existing Pro 4 VideoRay Cockpit control software with white balance, AE modes, gain, and many more user controllable camera features. Mapping some of these commands to the VideoRay hand controller is also possible.

The HD-SDI signal is transported over an embedded single mode fiber optic strand in the VideoRay Tether and captured topside. The topside capture device also allows for real-time HD output for live viewing while being recorded / encoded at a very high bit rate to either the Pro 4 PC or an external hard drive (not included).

The Pro 4 HD Camera addition also features a 3x varifocal lens, excellent low light performance, 8 different resolution / frame rate outputs and a one push trigger AF / Manual focus option. The HD Camera outputs include 1080p 20 or 25 fps, 10801 / 50 or 60 fps, 720p / 25 or 30 fps, 720 p / 50 or 60 fps - HD-SDI outputs are compliant to SMPTE292M, 274M, and 296M. The data transport speed is 1.485 GB/second while the effective pixel are approximately 3.27 megapixels.

The HD Camera accessory can be added or removed from the basic Pro 4 submersible in seconds and requires the included fiber optic tether - will not work with existing VideoRay Non-Fiber Tether. Inquire about options for equipping VideoRay Pro 3 , Scout, and Explorer ROV systems with HD cameras.
